I have had some difficulty getting the coconut oil down.
I have found two helps:
1) IMP> Always start small when introducing a new product. Put one miniscule drop of Stevia on top of the oil in a spoon, wait a moment and then try – it does help, really ! Make sure you can tolerate Stevia.
2) Drop a small ‘squish’ of lemon or lime juice on top of the oil before taking it. That too, works, honest ! Try it, you may like it, it does work for me.

Some people are using organic expeller pressed coconut oil. It has no coconut taste.
Unfortunately, that coconut oil is refined and deoderized.
You should be using the correct coconut oil, which must be unrefined, non-hydrogenated, unbleached, undeodorized

There are other ways to use coconut oil - try to hide the taste of it in cooking. I put it in my Swiss Water-process decaf coffee. I also put it in spicy food like spaghetti sauce, chili, garlic sauce, curry sauce, etc. And I’ve put it in decaf Chai tea a few times too. There are also many recipes that have coconut oil, including custard, flan, and fake pumpkin pie.

He prescribed Antibiotics, Clarinase, Otrivin nose drops and Nasonex. He said the Otrivin and Clarinase will drain out the sinus since it will be hard to treat the infection with the anti-biotics if they aren’t drained. I don’t want to take the medication but I need to get rid of this infection.

I have been doing the sinus wash but I find that my right nostril is blocked most of the time. Sometimes when I blow my nose, it seems to be stuck and doesn’t come out. At times the mucus is clear and other times, bright yellow. This is two weeks now that I have been dealing with this. Not sure if mucinex is sold here in my country. I did increase my vitamin uptake.

What else can I do?
________________________________
A: You can flush your sinuses with nasal washes (neti pots, big syringe things, etc. – check your local pharmacy). Basically, you use warm salt water to clean out your sinuses. You can brew some garlic tea to use as well – this can be somewhat harsh.

That said – I find this helps me at the beginning of a sinus problem and at the end but in the middle it doesn’t do much for me since my front sinuses are not the problem – it’s always my back/middle sinuses that clog up and the washes do nothing for them (for me anyway).

Increase zinc, Vit. D and Vit. C to help your body fight off the infection.

Doctors usually prescribe antihistamines. They work but they are immuno-supressents – so, essentially, while they make the reaction go away, they supress your natural immune system. This doesn’t help in the long run.

When I have a sinus problem I boost my vitamins, use the nasal wash and take Musinex. The Musinex helps the sinuses to drain and that helps get the infection out (and also helps prevent infection in the first place).

Now, if you are miserable (and you probably are since you went to the Dr.) then you might want to go ahead and use the medications to get yourself well – medication does work many times. Just try to avoid taking it long term since it is likely that you don’t need it long term. If you take the antibiotics then be sure to get a good probiotic to counteract the impact on your gut.

Next time – when you feel something coming on, use the nasal wash, boost the vitamins and take musinex. That seems to work for me.

For the longest time it was said the yolk was not healthy. Everyone was eating only egg whites. Now I am hearing that yolks are good for weight control.
Does anyone know how many eggs are recommended a week?
Don’t want to raise my cholesterol but would like to eat a few eggs a week
A: I read that there is a good amount of vit. e in eggs. They also have a favorable effect on our balance between good and bad cholesterol.
if you don’t have high blood pressure or cholestorol, two whole eggs per day is fine. I don’t know how many eggs per week is ok, but 14 whole eggs per week sound too much, so you don’t have to eat that many in a week. Sodium and cholestorol in moderation from foods is ok for you and won’t really harm you.

The
tests don’t show the ability of the hormone to function within the
cell. This is why some people can have ‘normal’ blood tests, but
still have symptoms of low hormone levels.

Candida can mess up all of the hormones and on a blood test hormones
are completely out of whack! Is this common with Candida?

Yes, having whacked out hormones is extremely common for
candida sufferers. There are many things besides diet and
supplements that help adrenals and the whole endocrine system,
including the thyroid, i.e. dry skin brushing, coffee enemas, Electrolyte
Drink, etc.

Candida toxins, and other toxins as well, cause cell membranes to
become rigid/stiff

So don’t be concerned about your hormone levels, since tests can
not measure what is going on in the cells anyway, and hormone levels
that too high or too low simply mean candida and other toxins have
done enough damage that the body isn’t able to function normally.

Concentrate on doing the recomended program so your body can heal itself,
and eventually it will normalize the functioning of all organs.
