fissurectomy with botox injection

I am on the 4th day after my fissurectomy/ botox injection and am still in total pain. I need anyone who has had this to tell me how they dealt with the pain after the BM’s. I cannot bear it!!! It is like an exorcism in my bathroom these last 4 mornings. The screaming, clawing, crawling, spasms, nerves firing everywhere, throbbing and burning like fire is exiting my body. I feel like I cannot take another moment of it. I dread going to bed at night because i know i will have to have a bm in the morning. This lasts about 3 hours of  excruciating unbearable pain. The meds seem to help during the day with pain, but I cannot find anything to help me through these tough mornings.

Botox does not work immediately. Takes 8-10 days to kick in. Then the spasms should let up. As far as the surgery, if you just had fissurectomy then you have an open raw place that will need to heal. Are you allowed to soak in a hot tub of water? If so, that may feel the best to your bumm. Keep your poops soft but formed so that it will heal properly. Take your softeners, Miralax or MOM work best. Be careful with narcotic pain killers, will stop your bowels up. Try Thermacare Disposable heatwraps for the back and wear it low over your crack area. Come in a red box in CVS and Walmart. They always helped me. Make sure you are clean back there. Use soft baby wipes like Cottonelle not toilet paper.
Lot’s of vaseline to lubricate before having a bm. Make sure you clean yourself really good after a bm, even a little stool can irritate the heck out of the tender tissue.
