What do you need to do in order to have a Meat Fast for weight loss and treating candida:

<fb:like href=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.healthy-n-fit.net%2Fcandida%2Fmeat-fast-for-weight-loss-and-treating-candida%2F height=25 width=600 show_faces=false font=verdana action=recommend colorscheme=light layout=standard style="margin: 10px 0;"></fb:like>
Q:
I want to do a meat fast over the weekend. I really want this monthto be a big weight loss month and I want to get off to the right start.
What exactly do I do?

A:
The nice thing about meat fasting is that you don’t usually have any rebound weight gain, like with a regular fast. The bad thing about it is that it can give you some very serious candida die-off. I don’t recommend you do it unless you’ve been on MOVES at least 2-4 weeks.

I just want to make sure you are aware that you may experience nausea, headache or worse from the die-off toxins. You will probably also experience loss of appetite, but you should force yourself to eat all of your food.

To do a meat fast, start with calculating your calories. Multiply your current weight by 10 minimum to 12 max. So for example if you weigh 200, your calories would be 2000-2400, which ever will make you full.

Next get your protein gram calculation by dividing your weight in half. So if you weigh 250, protein grams would be 125. Increase by 10-20 grams if you lift weights or are pretty active. This is not a super scientific way of doing the calculation, but the way that I know that is more accurate involves knowing your body fat percentage and lean body mass, which I’m not sure if you know or not.

OK, now pick a meat you are going to eat, and it’s best if it’s fatty. Say ground beef or chuck roast.
Then add the amount into fitday until you hit your protein grams. If you need more calories still, add fat into protein until you hit your calorie benchmark.

Coconut oil is your best bet for additional calories as it boosts the immune system and metabolism as well.
Then just cook up your meat and oil, and eat only that as long as you can stand it.

I do NOT know if this fits in with the anti-candida regimen. But, it has been working for me for at least a year now.

I do NOT buy Claritan as it is way too expensive. I buy the generic Lortadine and get it at a whole-sale place so that it is not as expensive. I’m sure you can also get it at Wal-Mart for less.

A: The problem with loratadine is that it’s suppressive. Sure, it’s supressing your annoying allergy symptoms, but there’s going to come a point where that’s not going to work anymore if you’re not healing your immune system. Allergies happen when your immune system isn’t healthy.

Like you, my husband is allergic to cats, mold, and almost everything green that grows outside (as well as bugs and a couple WEIRD food addatives.) His biggest allergy was by far the candida though. For YEARS, he’s suffered with allergy symptoms, skin symptoms, digestive symptoms, joint pain, fatigue… When he finally went to the allergist and found out that he was so allergic to candida, he was told, “If we get the candida under control, the other stuff will fall into line.” He was prescribed a candida diet and Diflucan. (I don’t necessarily agree with the Diflucan thing, but that’s for another time.) Anyway, as he’s strengthened his body and immune system and taken the antifungal, his allergy symptoms have lessened to the point where he HASN’T had everyday sinus trouble and he’s been without his Zyrtec and Nasonex for about 3 weeks now.

Don’t get me wrong, he’s got a long way to go. But it turned out that the antihistamines were just kinda sorta dealing with symptoms that were caused by something entirely different.

I should also mention that we have a cat. Now, we don’t let her sleep with us, but other than that, my husband’s doing great JUST addressing the cnadida.

It’s amazing how many health issues are related to candida. Once you strengthen your immune system and get that candida under control, a LOT of
issues disappear.
